Almost white

Europe has always been a heavy hitter for me in terms of shopping - living in Sydney we don’t have much access to labels like COS, Weekday, & Other Stories, H&M.. even Mango has pretty much vanished from our shores. Anyway, I knew I’d be shopping up a decent storm but it wasn’t until my last weekend in Barcelona that I finally ventured in to the & Other Stories store on Passeig de Gràcia and immediately grabbed an armful of stuff and headed to the changing room. There were so many gorgeous pieces but I had to leave some of them behind so I could fit this sweater into what was left of my luggage space at that point. The paint stripe detail on the very-light-grey-to-the-point-of-almost-being-white makes this piece so special, I really couldn’t leave the store without it..

Also, seeing Ingmari Lamy in this very same sweater is kind of rad.. isn’t she the coolest? Kudos to the brand for celebrating diversity! Worn with some on-rotation basics and a high street version of these gold Alexander Wang sunnies I found in Granada.

Knits and denim is such an awesome way to face autumn weather! :) That is a really nice knit too, I can see why you wanted to make sure you had enough room in your luggage for it.

Gorgeous sweater, and amazing sunnies. I don’t think we have a & other stories store in Greece. I’ll keep them in mind if I ever go to Spain.

I think that jumper is totally you. Minimalist with a twist. Their clothes are really interesting and I just wish I was able to shop in store instead of online as I think a lot of the pieces need to be tried on. Both COS and Other Stories have similar shaped styles - cocoon or boxy which tends to get lost on me a bit with me being a shorty. But they are perfect for you as you have that extra height to balance the shapes.

It always amazes me how things are available in one place and not another. Love your sweater and that tote Stephanie. Looks awesome on you.

Glad you managed to get in some good shopping, that sweater is perfect & very you! Love the slight structure it had around the shoulders & the cocoon kind of shape. I think us Europeans often take for granted all the great, affordable stores we have here.
